OCR Converting Improperly

4 posts in this topic

Hey there Wondershare,

Was trying the product out and testing OCR on a demo scanned form. When I run OCR on the page, this is the result that I get (see screenshot). Tried reinstalling and install PDFelement 6 as well as the OCR plugin on a seperate computer as well to the same result.

Did I run into a bug here or are there some settings I missed. Of course I have the language checkbox set to English.

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Do you mean that some ticks(√) are recognized as dot? I think it's a bug of our OCR engine. We will keep improving it in future.

Thank you for your feedback!

Yes that's right. Thanks for the response. I think towards the bottom where the yes became a >/ was also a similar symptom of the same bug.
