Required fields

Working with PDFelements 6 Professional. Under specific field properties, I have checked 'Required', however this does not seem to be mandatory when I send the pdf to users to populate. Does anyone know why?

Hi Ahmed Khan,

Could you upload your PDF file here or send it to me (wangyi@wondershare.cn) for further check? I think it's a bug and we will try our best to fix it.

Thank you for your feedback!

Hi Bernie,

For your information, when you check the 'Required' option for the field, it will restrict when you export data from the form, so you will get the message to ask you to fill out the required field first before export data. In order to help us better solve the issue, could you please confirm more details about your needs? Do you want it to be mandatory ask you to fill out before you save the file or any other step?

Thanks

Is the issue of the required field not being mandatory been resolved yet? I mean if the field is left blank, the user cannot go to the next field. At present its not working this way.

Hi,

For your information that the Required function is used to restrict from exporting the form data, it cannot restrict users to fill in the field before going to the next field.

Thanks
