FormField text alignment

3 posts in this topic

I have a simple Newbie question.

I have created a from on a PDF.  One of the form fields is about 60 pixels tall and is being filled in with 12 point type.

The works pretty well if the user enters the full mailing address (4 lines of text).

But if they simply enter their name (a single line of text ),  the text is vertically centered in the field.

How do I force the filed to top/left align rather than Center/left align?

I feel silly.  But I found it!

It turns out the the mac Align is separate from the right-click Properties of the PDF.

Leaving this here in case others have the same issue.

Hey there,

I am glad that you found the feature you want by yourself.

As a reference, I still post the answer here in case others can learn about text alignment in the form field:

1. Right click the form field to choose the option of Properties.

2. Go to Options tab.

3. Select left/center/right from the Alignment dropdown list.

Hope this piece of information can help a little bit.
