Just converted PDF to Word 2016 Document and it is compatibility mode and i cannot type on it.

Hi Jerry,

 

Do you mean the converted word file is not editable? If you mean this, then I am afraid your PDF file is the scanned file or the image-based file, so you need to enable OCR function to convert it to the editable word file.

 

After opening your PDF file in the program, please click the Edit>OCR button, then choose Editable Text mode, and click the Change Language button to choose the correct language of your PDF content to perform OCR. After performing OCR, a newly created PDF file will be opened in the program automatically, so you can click the Home>To Word button to convert it again.
