Zoom from Keyboard?

4 posts in this topic

I just downloaded PDFElement 6 for Macintosh to evaluate. One thing that I'm missing is the ability to zoom in or out using the keyboard and mouse: click and drag while pressing the space bar and Command key to zoom in, adding the Option key to zoom out. With Acrobat I had exact control over how big or small the view was, and which area to zoom in on. Maybe I need to use different keys? I tried all the combinations that seemed likely. This program has so many advanced features, it's surprising that something so basic would be missing. Is it somewhere I haven't tried? Thanks!

Hey Katie,

Thanks for getting in touch.

I am on a Mac laptop, and to "zoom" and "zoom out", I just pinch two fingers together/apart on the trackpad. I have attached a video for you!

 zoom.mp4

If you are on a desktop you can

1. Use " +" or "⌘ -"

2. Enable the scroll function on a mouse through the Mac settings -> Accessibility -> Zoom (left hand column) -> click "use scroll gesture with modifier keys to zoom" and pick the key you want to use from the drop down

I hope this helps!

Best,

Rebecca
