Random Bad Print Jobs

12 posts in this topic

Attached are a few bad print jobs.  They happen randomly and if you repeat the same print job it will work just fine.  The printer is on a network and is a Konica Bizhub 360.  Printing the same documents on a local printer does not seem to have the same problem.  This problem is annoying to say the least as going to the printer requires a long walk so a fix would be good.  The computers that use the printer all are Windows 10.  Does anyone have a solution?

Hi Paul L. Girard,

Do you means that some form fields text prints are not working properly? If so, please upload the original PDF file here but not the scanned PDF. Thanks for your feedback!

No the file will print just fine sometimes,, but if you look at the attached files I sent, the printing is missing in some places.  This is very random and happens sometimes but not others.

Hi Paul,

Do you mean you have filled all the blanks in the file, however when you print by the network printer, some places are missing the filled data? In order to help us figure it out, we still need your PDF file (the one you used to print) to test on our side, we will print your PDF file on our side to have further check. So you can attach your PDF file here to send to us.

Thanks

Daphne, The problem is when the form has had text added to it, sometimes and only sometimes some of the text either dissapears or just some of the text dissapears.  I have attached a print job where the text has dissapeared in some places.  Funny thins is the next time you print it, the text shows up just fine.

Hi Paul,

It seems the PDF file you attached is the same file as the file you sent in your first message. Please note that we do not need this scanned printed result, we need your original PDF file (the one you use to print) so that we can test to print your PDF file by ourselves. Once we can replicate the same print issue on our side, it will be easier for us to figure it out.

Do you have any specific operation or steps when you have the print issue every time?

Thanks

Hi Paul,

The issue seems to be related to your network printer. Since the local printer works successfully, you can use the local printer to print directly.

Thanks
