This is my first time using.  Where do I create a password to enable editing?

Hi Gail,

 

You can set the permission password to prevent from editing. After opening your PDF file in our program, please click the Protect>Password button to add the permission password as you want. Here are more details:

If others do not know the password, then they wont be able to edit the PDF file. Whether this can meet your need? Or do you just want to edit the PDF file? If you want to edit the PDF file, then there is no need to set the password. And if you fail to edit your PDF file by our program, could you please attach your PDF file here or send it to our email address: pdfelement@wondershare.com for further check?
