How to resize the objects proportionally in PDFelement

4 posts in this topic

Maybe some of you here already knows this little trick, but it comes really handy for those who doesn’t know about it yet.

When you are at the Editing mode and targeting a certain objects, you can stretch the objects by dragging its endpoint, vertex, or control point.

  • If you drag those points while holding Shift key on your keyboard. You can resize the whole block proportionally to its original scale.

  • However, if you drag those points while holding Alt key on your keyboard. You can pretty much resize the object to whatever aspect ratio you preferred (freestyle). What’s nice about this trick is that it works on the text appears as well! Sometimes you can create some really impressive font looks by doing this.

Hope this helps.

Exactly, after clicking the “Edit” button, click the target image to select and hold the Shift key while dragging the corner of the image will allow you to resize the image and maintain the same aspect ratio. If you want to change the aspect radio of the object, just need to drag the corner of the object to resize it to .

Hi Marlin,

I am sorry that this feature is only for Windows version program, it does not work in the Mac version.

Thanks
