  2. Format after Export

Does anyone else have difficulty extracting data into Microsoft Word? What have you done to fix the issue? Please describe the issue(s) you have had and what steps you took to solve the problem(s). Thanks in advance! Each time I use a scanned document, upload it to PDF Element PRO, run OCR, and export it to Microsoft Word, I have SERIOUS formatting issues. I have not found a solution. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! Amy S.
  3. I have a PDF of 42 pages that I uploaded into PDF Elements Pro. The 42 page PDF is way too large to fax or send via email. How do I parse these 42 pages into something more manageable and export them into smaller PDFs? Thanks in advance! Amy S
  4. Zoom from Keyboard?

I just downloaded PDFElement 6 for Macintosh to evaluate. One thing that I'm missing is the ability to zoom in or out using the keyboard and mouse: click and drag while pressing the space bar and Command key to zoom in, adding the Option key to zoom out. With Acrobat I had exact control over how big or small the view was, and which area to zoom in on. Maybe I need to use different keys? I tried all the combinations that seemed likely. This program has so many advanced features, it's surprising that something so basic would be missing. Is it somewhere I haven't tried? Thanks!
  5. Ocr multiple files

Good morning, Can the full versions of Pdf element scan in OCR multiple files in one step? Is there a maximum quantity of files that can be processed in one step? Thank you in advance. Lorenzo Marchesi Marchesi srl
  6. Bookmark Properties

I did not see Properties or Settings for Bookmarks, but it possible to add properties to Bookmarks such as Bold Text and Color to distinguish bookmarks from one another? Thanks!
  7. Have you plans to implement in near future horizontal scrolling pages in PDFelement for iOS? This would be very convenient for ebooks reading.
  8. I have a feature request. I would like to be able to merge data from an Excel spreadsheet or CSV file into a PDF Form template, creating PDF form prepopulated with data from for each record in the spreadsheet or CSV file.
  9. i have PDFElement 6 on my Mac, and now I have PDFElement also on two of my Andriod device, and anither iPad Pro, and one more iPhone. Basic membership allow maximum 2 mobile device to link to my username. How can I get access to link all 4 mobile device to my account? How can I make subscription? Is ther any option available to me? Regards Sanchai Bangkok, Thailand
  10. OCR for equation based text

Using the free trial, I was testing out the OCR function on some scanned pages from a book. For regular text it worked great and was easy to use. In addition, the program layout and functionality is great. However I noticed that it did not interpret equations well. (in particular integrals) I would be interested in buying the full version if it could do mathematical script as that would be mostly what I would use it for. If there is an existing add-on or extension that helps with this I would be interested in learning more about using it. Else, it might be something to consider for future updates. I would be even more impressed if I could use a script like Latex to edit and copy the equations. Thanks, Kelsey Wiebe
  11. Outlook Add-ins?

Is there an Outlook add-in available or in the works? We are currently testing PDFelement and love many of the features. We would love nothing more than to ditch Adobe Acrobat for good. However, my users leverage the Acrobat add-ins in Office, particularly the ability to preview pdf's in email and the one click Save as PDF link in the File tab navigation pane. We've worked around the preview issue by installing Adobe Reader, but that is only stop gap.
  12. Redact Multiple Items

I'm running PDFelement 6 Pro 6.3.0 on Mac. I often have to make multiple redactions in documents. Is there a way to turn redaction on and make multiple redactions without clicking on the "Redact" button for each redaction? When I'm using it, I click the "Redact" button, then highlight the area I want to redact and then the redact feature automatically turns off after one selection. Then I have to click the Redact button again before I can redact another area. I often have to make dozens of redactions so having to click Redact in between each adds a lot of clicks and forces me to move my eyes and the cursor from the area that I'm reading through. Is there a way around this? If not, please create one. Redact should stay on by default until I click it off. Thanks!
  13. PDF Elements does not Open PDF File

Greetings, The latest version of PDF Elements does not open PDF files (not all). The files in question are opened almost instantly by Acrobat. The program PDF Elements starts opening a file then it stops with no results. The progress bar has been terminated by appearing a red close button. This is very annoying - PDF Element are supposed to be a reliable pdf program manipulation. Please advice - my question is directed specially to the Technical Support. Thank you in advance
  14. Hidden Windows Taskbar

I have a Win7 Pro desktop and a Win10 Pro laptop and PDF Element installed on both. I have my task bar hidden on both systems. All the applications seem to work as they are supposed to. When I move my cursor to the lower or bottom of the screen the task bar is displayed. This works on every application I use except PDF Element. Being in the IT Department I have many applications and have tried many different settings/options. Is there a way to get PDF Element to work with hidden windows task bars? I am sure there is a registry hack that would do it but I would prefer it to just work as every other application does. Let me know if I am missing a setting somewhere or if there is something else I can do. Otherwise is this functionality going to be included at some point? Thanks - Mike
  15. Rulers, page size etc.

Hi, I have some questions. A) Will you have an option to show Rulers and Grid soon? B) In the crop function, will it be possible soon to add choices like crop to formats such as letter, A4, etc etc.? C) Can you add a function where you can see the size of your page as soon as you point the mouse to the bottom left corner of the page??? Thank you.
  16. Hello, It looks like PDF form fields can be aligned, but fields placed on a marked PDF cannot be aligned when multiple fields are selected. Am I doing something wrong? Notice in this screenshot that three fields are selected but the "Align" menus are greyed out:
  17. View of the pdf

There is some kind of problem with the view of the pdf file....when it is opened in the browrser....the whole view and the editable fields are disturbed...especially on Mac OS. what would be the solution to this problem? and the tab key problem also.
  18. Folks, I think there are a couple flaws with the batch Bates Stamping feature on PDFelement Pro for Mac. 1. The feature puts the output files in ALPHABETICAL order rather than the order in which they were Bates Stamped. This is a huge pain, as it can be difficult to get them back to the latter. A work around: Rename the files so the Bates Stamp order is the same as alphabetical order. 2. The feature considers page orientation (e.g., whether portrait or landscape) when adding Bates Numbers. What lawyers want and expect is for the Bates Number to be placed on the same part of the paper (say, the bottom right of a page in portrait mood) and oriented the same way regardless of what is on that page (e.g., even if that page is oriented landscape mode). That way, if you have binders of thousands of pages, you don't have to rotate the binders 90 degrees to track the Bates Numbers every time the printed material switches from landscape to portrait mode. Question: Is there a way to batch print to double sided once I've Bates Stamped everything? Regards, Mark
  19. There are many times that I would like to have two or more pdfElement windows open simultaneously so I can refer back and forth between them, but when I open a second window, the first disappears. Is there some way to allow multiple windows in pdfElement to be open simultaneously?
  20. i want to read original books, but these are too dear for me. so i want pdfelement could let me read ebooks on linux.
  21. Print on both sides (manually)

When I go to "print on both sides (manually)" through printer properties, the selection remains "print on both sides for all programs (not only pdf Element but MS Word, Excel, Quicken, etc.) until I manually change it back by unchecking that option. This is annoying and inconvenient, since most printing is only on one side. Is there some way to have this feature automatically revert to printing on one side of the page once pdfElement is closed?
  22. Is there a way to do what title states or do I have to crop it outside PDFelement? I'm trying to convert a novel with a few pictures into an EPUB file so if there is no feature for this, it really should be made. I'd like to select what image content I preserve from the scanned document within the app and remove everything else like the page's background and possible shadows from scanning.
  23. I've loaded the C++ Standard document in PDFelement. This a very long document with more than 1300 pages. So, the "back" feature is a requirement in my case. When I say "back" feature, I mean a keyboard shortcut (normally Alt + Left Key) that would allow me to quickly return to point (1) where I was in the document, when I clicked in a link that took me to another point (2) where I am now. That is, I want to return to my original position (point 1) with a shortcut key. How do I do that?
  24. PDF Button request

Two buttons requested please on PDF editing page. I am editing scanned documents. The scanning is poor requiring the text to be moved up and down page. Also images to be re-imported to page. When editing a page, there is a 'Properties' column on the right hand side of page, with plenty of room. Please could there be put two quick assess buttons for following features. 1./ A toggle button to show margin lines. Then text can be moved up to same starting position at top of page, and page numbers can be moved down to same position at bottom of page. Make finished product look better. 2./ A button to allow 'Added images' to be moved behind text. In Word this is 'Wrap Image behind text'. This program may have these functions, but quick access buttons on the 'Properties' column would quicken this process. Thank you in advance.
